Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Grachek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miodrag Stefanovic! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Grachek as Stefanovic shoots in. Grachek looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Grachek looks for a takedown but Stefanovic sprawls well. Stefanovic throws a head kick but Grachek moves out of range.
Stefanovic with a lazy takedown attempt and Grachek counters with a single leg into guard. Stefanovic didn't expect that. Stefanovic looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Grachek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stefanovic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grachek has managed to get both his arms back between Stefanovic's legs - danger averted. Stefanovic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grachek gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Grachek distracts Stefanovic with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Grachek has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Grachek wants to control from the top but Stefanovic keeps moving. Stefanovic working for a triangle but Grachek defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stefanovic keeping moving, preventing Grachek from controlling successfully. Grachek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stefanovic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grachek has managed to get both his arms back between Stefanovic's legs - danger averted. Grachek passes easily into side control. Nice work. Stefanovic regains half guard, as Grachek was trying to land strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grachek content to control rather than advance. Grachek is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stefanovic sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stefanovic is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Grachek pulls his head out easily. Grachek is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Stefanovic has his foot on Grachek's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grachek works his way back into a safe position though. Grachek thows a big elbow that misses. Grachek throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Grachek is posturing up here but Stefanovic has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Grachek tries to roll out but it's too tight and Grachek has to tap! Slick submission there by Stefanovic!
