The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens swats away the attempt to clinch by Condon.
Condon moves in looking to clinch but Stevens pushes him off.

Stevens shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stevens showed some decent athleticism there.

Stevens is working for a kimura but Condon is defending it quite comfortably.
Stevens passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Condon!
Condon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Condon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Stevens has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stevens is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Condon is surviving well by controlling Stevens's body position as best he can.

Condon tries to lock up and control but Stevens gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Stevens swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Condon is now in Stevens's guard. A big mistake from Stevens there, giving up the dominant position!
Stevens striking off his back but it's not causing Condon any problems.
Condon is looking to stand up but Stevens won't let him.
Stevens looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Condon puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Stevens wants to improve his position but Condon is controlling well.
Stevens moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stevens has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Condon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Stevens is breathing heavily.
Condon is looking to clinch.

Condon moves into the clinch.

Condon breaks the clinch.
Stevens looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Condon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stevens avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zach Condon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevens fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Condon wants to clinch.
Condon tries to clinch but Stevens moves out of range.
Condon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Stevens goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Condon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stevens but great work by Condon.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Condon decides to stand back up. Condon steps back and let's Stevens get back to his feet.
Condon darts in trying to clinch
and Stevens counters with a good low kick that Condon was not able to check.
Condon tries to clinch there but Stevens circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stevens.

Stevens has hold of Condon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Condon seems comfortable defending it but Stevens has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Condon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Condon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Stevens couldn't care less - he's delighted!
