Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vito Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vito Sladkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sven Hammer! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sladkov moves in looking to clinch but Hammer pushes him off. Hammer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sladkov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hammer trying to control but Sladkov is working from the bottom. Hammer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hammer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer drops back looking for a leg! Sladkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sladkov manages to kick Hammer off! Hammer jumps back into Sladkov's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sladkov wants to get back to his feet but Hammer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sladkov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammer on the ground. Hammer wants to control from the top but Sladkov keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sladkov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hammer tries to clinch but Sladkov is having none of it. Hammer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hammer slips a jab and a cross from Sladkov.
Sladkov looks to clinch so Hammer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hammer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hammer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sladkov is keeping the position for now. Sladkov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammer trying to control but Sladkov is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hammer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sladkov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sladkov wants to stand up but Hammer is controlling him. Hammer is stalling in the full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sladkov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sven Hammer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Vito Sladkov has been cut. Sladkov wants to clinch but Hammer slips to the side and Hammer counters by moving into the clinch. Still in the clinch, Sladkov scores with a nice short uppercut. Sladkov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sladkov working aggressively here.
Sladkov could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sladkov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hammer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sladkov wants to clinch but Hammer slips to the side and Hammer counters with a head kick. Sladkov looks to clinch and Hammer counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hammer moves out of range of the leg kick from Sladkov. Hammer tries to clinch up. Sladkov with a poor takedown and Hammer counters into the clinch. Nicely done. This has been an exciting period of action! Come on Hammer - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Hammer pulls Sladkov into guard.
Sladkov throws and elbow that misses. Hammer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sladkov's guard. Nice move by Hammer! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hammer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer passes Sladkov's left leg - he's now in half guard. Sladkov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sladkov tries to kick Hammer off but Hammer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hammer perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer prevents Sladkov from standing back up.
Hammer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hammer trying to control the action but Sladkov is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hammer slows the pace down in half guard. Hammer working the head and body with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sven Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Vito Sladkov's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Sladkov tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hammer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hammer. Sladkov lands with a short head shot on the inside. A left hand lands to the body for Sladkov.

Sladkov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hammer backwards. Sladkov lands on the inside with an uppercut. Sladkov blocking some punches.

Hammer tries to circle away but Sladkov has him pinned against the cage. Sladkov lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hammer backwards. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sladkov has a couple of punches blocked by Hammer.
Hammer breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Sladkov. No joy for Hammer on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer dodges the punch combination from Sladkov.
Hammer scores with a kick to the body.
Hammer gets the takedown into side control. Sladkov taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hammer throws a strike aimed at the side of Sladkov's head but Sladkov avoids it well. Sladkov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hammer.
Hammer decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sladkov blocks a body shot from Hammer. Hammer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hammer wants to get back to striking at distance but Sladkov won't allow it.
Sladkov connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hammer's face.

Hammer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hammer postures up in Sladkov's guard and throws a big left but Sladkov blocks it. Hammer trying to control the position from guard on top but Sladkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sladkov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hammer. Hammer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sladkov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hammer is controlling him.

And that's the end of the fight! Sven Hammer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hammer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
