Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasa Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago Silva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sladkov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Sladkov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sladkov gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Sladkov manages to break the clinch.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sladkov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.

It looks like Thiago Silva has been cut.

Sladkov wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sladkov defends well.

Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sladkov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
