Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herbert West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colt Cannon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Herbert West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colt Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
West throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cannon's waist but West gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing West off to one side.
Cannon tries to clinch up.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cannon, right into the meat.
West drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cannon trying to keep a closed guard but West is proving a slippery customer.
Cannon wants to sweep but no luck.
West stands and throws Cannon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
An elbow from West crashes against the mat.
West advances to mount.
Cannon trying to punch from the bottom. They're landing but they're really not going to hurt West.
Cannon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from West.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cannon is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Cannon is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Cannon in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
West jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cannon manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Cannon manages to get back to half guard.
West is working for an americana but Cannon has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst West was thinking about the submission.
West is breathing heavily.
West won't allow Cannon to get back to his feet.
West wants to control from the top but Cannon keeps moving.

West drops back looking for a leg! Cannon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cannon manages to kick West off! West jumps back into Cannon's guard.
West prevents Cannon from getting back to his feet.
West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Cannon trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cannon throws a right and a left that West avoids nicely.
Cannon fails with an attempt to clinch.
West drives through with a takedown into guard.
West pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cannon is keeping the position for now.
West passes Cannon's left leg - he's now in half guard.

West wants to take a breather but Cannon is having none of it.
West prevents Cannon from standing back up.
Cannon wants to control the action here but instead West manages to pass to full mount!
The referee warns Cannon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Cannon is in all sorts of trouble here.
West jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cannon manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Cannon tries to escape but West is in control.
West wants to control but Cannon is keeping him busy.
Cannon is trying to get back to his feet.
Cannon tries to buck West off but West is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cannon wants to control but West postures up.
West is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cannon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cannon is looking to regain half guard here but West keeps moving and retains side control.
Cannon is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
West tries to move into full mount but can't pass Cannon's legs.
West looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
West tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
West scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cannon tries to kick West off but West keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
West passes to side control.
West thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

West is looking to take a break and control but Cannon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cannon is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
West trying to control the position but Cannon is working away.
West tries to move to mount but Cannon blocks the move with his legs.

West swings around for an armbar but Cannon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into West's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cannon wants to pass the guard but West is keeping the position.
West wants to sweep here but Cannon controlling him for the moment.
West has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cannon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cannon is looking to stand up but West won't let him.
West is looking for a triangle here but Cannon uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Cannon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
West prevents Cannon from improving position.
West is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cannon off and has taken his back!
West lands an elbow to the side of the head.
