Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ruffuss Passat has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ruffuss Passat seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ruffuss Passat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Frank Dux! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux throws a nice looking combination but Passat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dux looks to land a combination but Passat avoids it well. Passat closes the distance and clinches. Dux wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dux gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Passat.
Passat breaks from the clinch.
Passat looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Passat trying to control but Dux is working from the bottom. Dux keeping full guard, as Passat tries to pass. Passat trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux wants to get back to his feet but Passat passes into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dux throws the left hand but Passat avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dux misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dux throws a looping overhand right but Passat ducks down to avoid it. Passat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. No joy there for Dux, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Passat darts in and clinches Dux up against the cage. Dux wants to break the clinch but can't.
Passat decides to pull guard. Passat trying to control the position.
Dux wants to stand but Passat has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dux looks gassed! Passat manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Passat punching from mount but Dux doing a good job of avoiding damage. Passat controlling the position easily from mount. Passat wants to take Dux's back but he can't do it this time. Passat trying to control but he's not successful this time. Passat swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dux is now in Passat's guard. A big mistake from Passat there, giving up the dominant position!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dux decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dux scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Ruffuss Passat has been cut. Passat has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dux tries to break the clinch but Passat is controlling the position. Passat is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dux gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Dux can't break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruffuss Passat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Passat keeps control of Dux as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dux is trying to break free. Dux wants to break free but Passat has control.
Passat escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Passat. Passat moves into the clinch successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ruffuss Passat will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ruffuss Passat's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Passat fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Passat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dux. Passat shoots in for a double leg but Dux sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dux feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Passat sprawling to the canvas! Passat rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dux finish him?!
Passat is rocked! Passat drops his hands momentarily. Dux doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Passat staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Passat doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Dux!
