Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gaylord Von Kockstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Silvera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Kockstein comes to the cage accompanied by Enrique Iglesias - Do You Know?. Silvera has chosen The Money Shot as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Silvera!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvera moves in looking to clinch but Von Kockstein pushes him off.
Von Kockstein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silvera circles away.
Von Kockstein dives in and grabs Silvera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silvera pushes down on Von Kockstein's head and hops out.
Von Kockstein is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like Gaylord Von Kockstein has been cut.
Von Kockstein with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silvera to score with a decent uppercut.
Silvera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Von Kockstein looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Silvera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Von Kockstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Silvera.
Von Kockstein circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Von Kockstein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silvera just stands there and leans against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Silvera throws an elbow but misses.
Silvera lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Von Kockstein drags the fight down to the ground.
Von Kockstein wants to sweep but no luck.

Silvera avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Von Kockstein escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silvera gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Von Kockstein takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Silvera creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Von Kockstein is looking to regain half guard here but Silvera keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A jab from Silvera does it's job there.
Silvera wants to clinch up but Von Kockstein keeps it at a distance.

Silvera closes the distance and pushes Von Kockstein back into the cage.
Silvera works on Von Kockstein's body with a couple of short punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Von Kockstein ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Von Kockstein no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silvera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Von Kockstein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silvera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Von Kockstein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silvera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Von Kockstein somewhat.
Von Kockstein throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silvera's waist but Silvera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Von Kockstein off to one side.

Joey Silvera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silvera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Von Kockstein manages to avoid it.

Von Kockstein closes the distance and clinches up with Silvera, looking for a takedown. Von Kockstein pushes Silvera against the cage but Silvera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Von Kockstein connects with a nice short shot to Silvera's temple.
Von Kockstein is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Silvera!

Von Kockstein is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silvera's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silvera's back!
