The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levy stuffs the takedown.
zolis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Levy's waist but Levy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing zolis off to one side.
zolis doesn't manage to clinch there - Levy circles away.
zolis moves in looking to clinch but Levy pushes him off.
Levy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Levy wants it to stay on the feet.

Levy slaps away a takedown attempt from zolis, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and zolis counters with a shoot takedown. Levy fights it but they end up in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

zolis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Levy throws out the jab.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Levy.
Levy throws a head kick but zolis moves out of range.
Levy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but zolis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
zolis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
zolis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
zolis moves into full mount! Levy won't be happy about that!
Levy trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

zolis wants to take Levy's back here but Levy is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Levy squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
zolis looking to control but Levy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Levy is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

zolis moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Levy has worked his arm free - good work by Levy!
Levy is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
zolis misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Levy is looking to get back to his feet here but zolis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Levy's back.
Evron Levy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
