Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard works over Litoris's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Mike Litoris has been cut.
Litoris closes the distance and clinches up with Bernard, looking for a takedown. Litoris pushes Bernard against the cage but Bernard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bernard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Litoris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Litoris throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bernard was covering up waiting for the punch and Litoris finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bernard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Litoris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Litoris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Litoris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bernard wants to stand but Litoris is controlling the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
