Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cockpunch Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snatch Dat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dat has chosen Bring The Pain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cockpunch Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Snatch Dat's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cockpunch Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snatch Dat!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dat lands a body shot.
Dat blocks a head kick by Jones.
Dat shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Dat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cockpunch Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dat takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jones cracks Dat with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dat moves out of range as Jones strikes.
Dat uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.

Dat drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dat is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dat wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Jones thows a huge punch but Dat dodges it nicely.
Jones is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dat looking for submissions off his back.
Jones trying to control the action but Dat is working from the bottom.
Jones controlling the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dat drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dat postures up.
Dat thows a big elbow that misses.
Dat content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dat throwing strikes but missing.

Dat postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dat, into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Dat gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dat.
Dat thows a big elbow that misses.
Dat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jones is trying to keep Dat in close.
Dat is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Jones controlling the position.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dat throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dat cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Dat saw that one coming.
Jones throws a hook to the side of Dat's head but Dat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dat keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Dat moves away and avoids it.
Dat shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dat on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A jab from Jones misses.
Jones misses with a jab to the body
and Dat counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones defending well as Dat loads up on a big left hand.

Dat darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Dat throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Dat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dat throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jones keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Jones manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dat in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Dat is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Jones pulls Dat in close to prevent any damage.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dat.
Dat postures up.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cockpunch Jones will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dat doesn't seem phased though.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Dat is just out of range.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dat.

It looks like Cockpunch Jones has been cut.
Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dat postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dat lands a heavy elbow.


Cockpunch Jones's cut is getting worse.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cockpunch Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Snatch Dat!
