Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Thates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Black Murder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Thates! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murder tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thates is able to avoid easily. Murder takes a swing at Thates's ribcage but misses. Murder is looking to chop away at Thates's legs. Murder misses with a leg kick. Murder throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Murder throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thates.
It looks like Jon Thates has been cut. Murder fails to land with a series of punches.
Murder looks for the body kick but Thates saw that one coming. A slow jab from Murder misses its intended target. Murder throws a sloppy head kick and Thates moves out of range easily. Thates scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Thates working Murder over with strikes. Thates content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Murder wants to get back to his feet.
Murder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thates on the ground. Well, if Thates is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thates stands up from half guard. Thates bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Thates decides to stand back up. Murder pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Murder just misses with a punch to the body.
Black Murder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Murder lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Thates closes the distance and pushes Murder back into the cage. Thates jumps guard and drags Murder to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Thates lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Murder! Murder wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Murder is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thates looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I looks like Thates might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Murder is in a horrible position here. Thates smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thates cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Thates takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Murder wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Murder wants to try and get back to his feet. Thates content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thates breaks from Murder's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Thates dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jon Thates's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Thates shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Murder napping and manages to drive through into side control! Murder is pushing Thates's head away, looking to escape. Thates manages to hold on to the position though. Thates thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Thates is putting a hurting on Murder here, landing some big shots from side control. Thates has knee on belly and moves into mount. Thates controlling from mount. Murder tries to buck Thates off but he can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Thates controlling from mount. Thates has hold of Murder's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Murder manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Thates tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Thates looking to finish Murder with some ground and pound. This is bad for Murder!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thates lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Murder hang on? Thates working for a submission but Murder is keeping him at bay. Murder is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jon Thates just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Murder misses with a leg kick. Black Murder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thates. A good leg kick by Thates. Thates fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Murder sprawls well initially but Thates persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Murder wants to stand back up but Thates manages to pass into side control.
Thates passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Murder!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thates content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Thates has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Thates showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jon Thates's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Thates has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Murder. Excellent takedown into side control there by Thates. Murder is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Thates asserts his dominance and retains side control. Murder tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Thates trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Murder doesn't escape. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thates looking for the choke from the back. Jon Thates has got the better of the ground game so far. Murder wants to get back to his feet. Thates is working the ground and pound. Can Murder escape? Thates is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Murder has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Thates has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Murder taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Thates doesn't care though - he's delighted!
