Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris The Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roor Daddy! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Beast misses with a takedown attempt - Daddy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Daddy drives through and clinches with The Beast against the cage.
The Beast tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Daddy smiles and moves away.
The Beast tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Daddy swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris The Beast. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daddy scores with a jab to the body. The Beast closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Daddy to the mat! Daddy manages to get full guard. The Beast drops back looking for a leg! Daddy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Daddy manages to kick The Beast off! The Beast jumps back into Daddy's guard. Daddy looking to control.
Daddy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. The Beast is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Daddy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take The Beast's back instead. I really don't envy The Beast right now.
The Beast prevents Daddy from getting a body triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Beast can't escape the position.
Daddy trying to control. The Beast rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The Beast tries to get to full guard but Daddy has control of the leg. The Beast is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Daddy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The Beast looks to clinch and Daddy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Daddy. The Beast tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Daddy just stands there and leans against the cage. The Beast takes an elbow to the temple. Daddy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daddy misses with a double jab.
The Beast closes the distance looking to clinch letting Daddy counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Beast has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Daddy finds it's way round the side to connect with The Beast's head. Daddy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Daddy lands in his opponent's guard. Daddy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The Beast looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Daddy throwing strikes from guard but The Beast blocks nicely. Daddy wants to control from the top but The Beast keeps moving. The Beast controls Daddy momentarily but Daddy frees himself. The Beast working for a triangle but Daddy defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Daddy trying to stand up but can't free himself from The Beast's guard. The Beast lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Daddy! Daddy can't escape the position.
The Beast landing strikes, looking to finish! The Beast misses with a head shot. Daddy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Daddy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as The Beast tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Daddy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by The Beast.
The Beast throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The Beast goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Daddy turns into him and now he's in The Beast's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daddy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Beast is keeping the position for now. The Beast looking for a sweep. Not yet The Beast, not yet. The Beast is looking to sinch up a triangle. Daddy throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to The Beast's body to avoid the submission. The Beast has instead reached around Daddy's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! The Beast arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Chris The Beast!
