Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flex Luthor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luthor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Battleflag. Dog Alpha is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Alpha is looking for a kimura but Luthor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alpha to get the leverage.
Alpha moves nicely into side control.
Alpha is trying to ground and pound but Luthor uses the momentary lack of control by Alpha to regain half guard.
Luthor wants to control but Alpha passes into side.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I looks like Alpha might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Alpha goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Luthor has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Alpha but great work by Luthor.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alpha can do anything to dispel that myth.
Alpha is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Luthor asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Alpha gets back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Luthor with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dog Alpha dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Alpha shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Luthor as he avoids it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Luthor. No joy for Alpha on that attempt.
Dog Alpha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luthor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alpha on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Alpha takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alpha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alpha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Luthor swivels and escapes.
Flex Luthor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dog Alpha.

Luthor connects with a right hand. Alpha shakes it off.
Luthor leaves Alpha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A slow jab from Luthor misses its intended target.
Flex Luthor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Alpha shoots in for a takedown but Luthor shows good takedown defense.

Alpha moves away from the strike by Luthor.

Luthor throws out a loose jab but Alpha uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alpha shoots in for a takedown but Luthor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Alpha will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Luthor misses with a wild combination.
Alpha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Luthor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Luthor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Luthor scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice sprawl there from Luthor as Alpha shoots in.
Alpha tries to clinch but Luthor moves out of range.
Alpha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luthor tries to avoid it but Alpha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luthor to the ground. Luthor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Luthor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dog Alpha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alpha avoids the body shot from Luthor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Luthor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alpha won't allow Luthor to sweep him here.

Dog Alpha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
