Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sakuraba Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vito Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter. Fertit is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Riot. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit throws a big shot that misses.
A jab from Gracie does it's job there.
Gracie slips under a jab from Fertit.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fertit wants to get back to his feet.

Fertit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fertit has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fertit!

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fertit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fertit has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fertit is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put Fertit to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sakuraba Gracie!
