Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Wolfenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fitor Belfast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fitor Belfast! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfast lands with a nice combination. Wolfenstein backs away looking to recover. Belfast on the wrong end of a nice hook. Belfast fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wolfenstein shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Belfast defends it nicely. Belfast throws a right and a left that both miss. Belfast avoids the head kick by Wolfenstein.

Wolfenstein prevents Belfast from breaking the clinch. Wolfenstein breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Belfast throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wolfenstein closes the distance and clinches up with Belfast, looking for a takedown. Wolfenstein pushes Belfast against the cage but Belfast circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A head kick by Belfast misses and Wolfenstein counters with a nice kick to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wolfenstein misses with a wild combination.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Belfast for as long as he can get away with. Wolfenstein lands a heavy elbow. Wolfenstein controlling from mount. Wolfenstein has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wolfenstein landing strikes from the mount and Belfast is in trouble! Wolfenstein takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wolfenstein lands a big shot there that rocks Belfast but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Belfast tries to kick Wolfenstein off but Wolfenstein keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wolfenstein stands up from half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wolfenstein throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Belfast. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wolfenstein goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wolfenstein lands a head kick. Belfast smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Belfast leaves Wolfenstein with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wolfenstein wants to clinch up but Belfast keeps it at a distance. Belfast shoots and misses and Wolfenstein counters by moving into the clinch. Belfast is looking to break free of the clinch but Wolfenstein has double underhooks. Wolfenstein lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Belfast tries to break the clinch but Wolfenstein is controlling the position. Wolfenstein lands an elbow that stopped Belfast in his tracks for a moment. Wolfenstein has Belfast pushed against the cage. Wolfenstein's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wolfenstein lands the left hand. Wolfenstein misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Left hook, right uppercut from Belfast. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Belfast is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Belfast tries to bum rush Wolfenstein with a series of wild strikes but Wolfenstein uses good footwork to avoid the assault. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wolfenstein gets to his feet. Belfast looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wolfenstein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belfast swivels and escapes. Wolfenstein goes for a high kick. It partially lands. No joy there for Wolfenstein, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Belfast throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein lands with a good body shot. Belfast gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wolfenstein stands and steps away. Belfast gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Belfast with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Belfast tries to roll over but Wolfenstein keeps him under control. Belfast looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolfenstein shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Belfast is trying to defend but Wolfenstein finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Belfast is trying to get back to full guard. Belfast has a hand on Wolfenstein's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Wolfenstein takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Belfast takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Belfast is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wolfenstein lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BOOM! Wolfenstein connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Belfast tries to lock up and control but Wolfenstein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Belfast's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Wolfenstein looking to control and managing it successfully. Wolfenstein putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wolfenstein content just to control the position here. Fitor Belfast has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
