Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Fagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu has chosen "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC as his entrance music. Jin Lieu has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fagan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lieu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fagan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Fagan drops back looking for a leg! Lieu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lieu manages to kick Fagan off! Fagan jumps back into Lieu's guard.
Fagan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lieu's head.

Fagan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lieu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fagan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lieu's waist but Lieu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fagan off to one side.
Lieu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fagan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lieu tries to avoid it but Fagan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lieu to the ground. Lieu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for Lieu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fagan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lieu.

Fagan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fagan showed some decent athleticism there.
Lieu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fagan is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Lieu wants to get back to his feet.
Fagan is keen to just control but Lieu is a slippery customer.
Lieu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Fagan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lieu dives on top into guard.

Lieu leaves Fagan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
