Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jed Zilar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty McKey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jed Zilar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ty McKey! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Zilar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Zilar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… McKey turns into him and now he's in Zilar's guard.
McKey passes Zilar's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Zilar is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zilar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. McKey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zilar kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Zilar punching from the bottom.
McKey uses his free foot to push down on Zilar's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zilar. McKey is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Zilar is surviving well by controlling McKey's body position as best he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
McKey jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Zilar manages to avoid the submission attempt. Zilar is looking for a sweep. McKey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zilar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McKey looks gassed! Zilar is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zilar struggling a bit here. Zilar isn't going anywhere. You can see the frustration on Zilar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. McKey fails with the takedown and Zilar counters with a nice double leg into guard. Zilar controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zilar passes McKey's left leg - he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Zilar seems content to control. Zilar is looking for a kimura here.
Zilar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. McKey wants to control but Zilar is keeping busy.
McKey is looking to improve his position.

Jed Zilar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McKey with a poor takedown and Zilar counters with a left and a right that stings McKey. McKey has his takedown stuffed and Zilar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zilar. Zilar gets to his feet. McKey looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Zilar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Zilar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Zilar uses his free foot to push down on McKey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McKey. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice elbow there by Zilar. Zilar controlling his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zilar unloading with bombs! Zilar landing strikes, looking to finish! McKey can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zilar is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zilar lands a nice shot to the head. Zilar controlling the pace for now. A nice elbow there by Zilar. Zilar lands a big shot there that rocks McKey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Zilar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McKey for as long as he can get away with. Zilar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zilar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Zilar working away from the top, dropping strikes. Zilar controlling from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zilar looking to control but McKey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jed Zilar dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Zilar shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jed Zilar just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Zilar is looking to clinch. McKey doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zilar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McKey! Zilar wants to control the pace but McKey is squirming around nicely. Zilar working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McKey is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zilar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Zilar raining down shots from the mount! McKey in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKey regains half guard. Zilar not doing much here.
Zilar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. McKey works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKey is working an open guard so Zilar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. McKey dodges the punch combination from Zilar.
Zilar rushes McKey and presses him up against the cage. Zilar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McKey checks a low kick from Zilar. Zilar lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Zilar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. McKey makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zilar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Zilar with the ground and pound but McKey regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Zilar controlling the action here. Zilar trying to mount his opponent but McKey defends it. Ty McKey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Well, if Zilar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
And that's the end of the fight! Jed Zilar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Zilar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
