Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Aha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Aha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Maxwell! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aha tries to clinch up. Maxwell gets the takedown into side control. An elbow from Maxwell crashes against the mat.
Sloppy strikes there by Maxwell. Maxwell fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Aha is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Maxwell is keen to just control but Aha is a slippery customer. Aha kicks Maxwell off and gets back to his feet. Aha fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Maxwell checks it well. Maxwell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aha paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maxwell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aha swats him away and circles back towards the center. David Aha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aha doesn't succeed with the takedown and Maxwell counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Maxwell there. Aha avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Maxwell. Maxwell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Aha regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Maxwell. Maxwell being controlled here momentarily. Aha keeping moving, preventing Maxwell from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Maxwell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Maxwell looking to sit in guard and control but Aha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Maxwell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Aha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maxwell is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maxwell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Aha sitting in guard, not really doing much. Maxwell trying to keep a closed guard but Aha is proving a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Maxwell tries to clinch but Aha is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aha is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maxwell clinches up against the cage. Aha manages to break the clinch.
Aha is looking to clinch. Maxwell drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Aha trying to strike off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maxwell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Aha is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Maxwell is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Maxwell dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Maxwell will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Maxwell throws a leg kick that is checked and Aha counters with a nice double leg into guard. Aha's corner is telling him to maintain position. Maxwell keeping moving, preventing Aha from controlling successfully. Maxwell looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Aha puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Maxwell is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Aha maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Maxwell could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Aha has cracked it and Maxwell is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Aha!
