Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chad Ngaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dawid Kostecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawid Kostecki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngaha stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ngaha wants it to stay on the feet.
Ngaha throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kostecki slaps away a takedown attempt from Ngaha, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kostecki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ngaha pinned against the cage. Ngaha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice takedown defense from Kostecki. No joy for Ngaha on that attempt.

Ngaha changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kostecki fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kostecki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ngaha doesn't seem bothered though.

Ngaha shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kostecki manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kostecki is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ngaha won't allow Kostecki to get back to his feet.
Ngaha is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ngaha has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kostecki looks gassed!
The referee stands the fighters back up. Chad Ngaha just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Kostecki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ngaha's head.

Kostecki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ngaha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kostecki somewhat.
Ngaha has closed the distance and engaged Kostecki in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chad Ngaha will probably get the nod.

Kostecki wants to clinch up but Ngaha keeps it at a distance.

Ngaha shoots in for a takedown but Kostecki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kostecki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Kostecki is trying to escape the mount but Ngaha keeps good control and instead manages to take Kostecki's back.

Ngaha has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Kostecki's body.
Ngaha is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kostecki knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kostecki for a finish.
Ngaha has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Kostecki trying to control the hands but Ngaha breaks the grip.

Ngaha is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Ngaha has got one arm under Kostecki's chin. This could be trouble... Kostecki trying to control the other hand but Ngaha gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kostecki has tapped out! The fight is over!
