Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez lands with a right hand.
Martinez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sanchez misses with an uppercut.
Martinez leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Martinez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanchez. Sanchez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice sprawl there from Martinez as Sanchez shoots in.
Sanchez shoots in but no luck this time.
Sergio Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Sanchez.
Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martinez's waist but Martinez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side.
Sanchez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Sergio Martinez has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Martinez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Martinez moves into the clinch.
Martinez content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Martinez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martinez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sanchez looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martinez slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Martinez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sanchez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sanchez is rocked!
Sergio Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martinez cracks Sanchez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sanchez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Martinez finish him?
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Martinez finish him?
Martinez drops Sanchez with a straight right hand, right on the button! Martinez follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergio Martinez!
