Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Bosse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Bosse! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bosse tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Bosse or perhaps it was just good defense by Hall which made him look bad. Bosse shoots for a takedown but Hall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bosse shoots in but no luck this time. Dan Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse. No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bosse shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense. Hall wants to clinch but Bosse slips to the side and Bosse counters with a stiff right hand. Hall slaps away a takedown attempt from Bosse, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hall closes the distance and pushes Bosse back into the cage. Hall working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hall gets through Bosse's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hall scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall has Bosse pressed against the cage, preventing Bosse from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bosse.
Bosse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hall is trying to break the clinch but Bosse is controlling him. Bosse will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hall up against the cage. Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bosse gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hall sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hall advances to half guard. Bosse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bosse looks gassed! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bosse to stand up. Bosse is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hall sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bosse manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hall passes Bosse's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hall controlling the pace. Hall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bosse has managed to free his arm - good work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bosse is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall stands up and beckons Bosse to join him on the feet. Bosse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bosse tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hall moves into range and clinches up with Bosse. Hall tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bosse avoids it. Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall closes the distance and clinches. Hall will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bosse up against the cage. Hall has had enough of the clinch but Bosse keeps him there for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hall. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hall as Bosse tries to tie him up. Bosse using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hall has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hall jumps guard and drags Bosse to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hall is looking to take a break and control but Bosse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hall throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hall trying to control the action but Bosse is working from the bottom. Hall is taking a breather. Bosse says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hall dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bosse tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily and Hall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hall. Bosse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hall manages to break the clinch.
Hall fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bosse sprawls well initially but Hall persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bosse makes his way to full guard, as Hall worked for a kimura.
Bosse wants to stand but Hall is controlling the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bosse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Bosse misses with a takedown and Hall counters by clinching up. Hall has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bosse is trying to keep an underhook but Hall manages to get the takedown into half guard. Bosse wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bosse taking some punishment here, with Hall in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall stands up out of the half guard. Bosse has his takedown stuffed and Hall counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dan Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse. This has been an exciting period of action! Bosse manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bosse throws a low kick, looking for Hall's leg but Hall calmly moves out of range. Bosse misses with a wild combination.
Steve Bosse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bosse shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hall counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bosse misses with a takedown attempt and Hall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bosse wriggles free and stands up. Hall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hall lands a decent elbow from side control. Hall is trying to get an arm triangle but Bosse is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall wants to control but Bosse is keeping him busy. Bosse is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hall has just dragged him back down to the mat. Hall stands up and beckons Bosse to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hall tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bosse swivels and escapes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hall throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Hall clinches up against the cage. Hall has hold of one of Bosse's legs. Bosse is fighting the takedown attempt but Hall gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hall dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Hall gets the takedown into side control. Hall looking to control but instead Bosse has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Hall decides to stand up. Bosse misses with a takedown and Hall counters by clinching up. Bosse has Hall pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hall manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hall stalling.
Bosse manages to pull guard.
Hall gets to his feet - Bosse follows without any prompting. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hall tries to clinch there but Bosse circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall tries to clinch up. Hall wants to clinch and Bosse counters with a nice body shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Bosse looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bosse with a lazy takedown attempt and Hall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hall. Dan Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bosse. Hall looking to slow down the pace here. Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hall shoots in looking for a takedown. Bosse tries to sprawl out of it but Hall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bosse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bosse. Bosse throws a head kick that misses. Bosse wants to clinch and Hall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hall.
Hall looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bosse!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is working for a guillotine from mount but Bosse frees his head quite easily.
Bosse keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hall working for a guillotine from mount but Bosse is in no mood to give up. Hall raining down shots from the mount! Bosse tries to hold on but Hall pushes him away. Dan Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hall postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bosse looks a forlorn figure.
Hall jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bosse manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bosse wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Hall working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hall decides to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Hall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
