The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hais lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smygare circles away quickly and effectively.
Smygare throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hais's waist but Hais gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smygare off to one side.
Hais misses with a head kick.
Smygare slips a straight right by Hais.
Hais scores with a jab.
It looks like Birk Smygare has been cut.
Smygare avoids the head kick by Hais.
Hais throws a right and a left that Smygare avoids nicely.
Hais throws a head kick that misses.
Smygare tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hais sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smygare somewhat.
Smygare looks gassed!
Hais lands a big head kick that sends Smygare tumbling to the mat! Hais takes a step backwards and waves Smygare back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Smygare is rocked!
Hais steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Smygare is out on his feet! Hais sets himself and nearly takes Smygare's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
