Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Hirvi!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mass fails with an attempt to clinch.
Good leg kick by Hirvi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hirvi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hirvi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hirvi moves nicely into side control.
Hirvi working the head with strikes.
Mass struggling a bit here.
Hirvi cracks Mass with a big elbow.
Hirvi landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Hirvi grinds an elbow into Mass's temple.
Mass is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Hirvi advances to full mount.
Hirvi with shots to the head and body - Mass looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mass tries to hold on but Hirvi pushes him away.
Hirvi connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hirvi on the ground.
Mass is looking to get to half guard.
Hirvi breaks from Mass's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hirvi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mass's face.
Hirvi lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hirvi is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Mass is in a horrible position here. Hirvi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hirvi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hirvi is landing with some decent strikes but Mass is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Mass is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hirvi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mass can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Mass is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hirvi lands a big elbow.
Hirvi unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Mass wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hirvi celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
