Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Filipe Belo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borknagar Solefald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belo comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mais não bate. Solefald is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bad Boy. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Borknagar Solefald! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solefald misses with a hook. Belo gets caught flat footed, as Solefald shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Belo being controlled here, momentarily. Solefald pushing down on Belo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Solefald prevents Belo from improving his position. Belo looking for submissions off his back. Belo manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Solefald postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Solefald is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Solefald's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Belo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Belo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Solefald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Solefald manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Belo is breathing heavily. Solefald thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Solefald passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belo looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solefald is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Solefald performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solefald takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Solefald scoring with strikes to the body and head. Solefald trying to control the action but Belo is working from the bottom. Solefald is trying to work for a kimura but Belo is defending well.
Solefald has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Solefald looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solefald is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Belo is surviving well by controlling Solefald's body position as best he can. Solefald content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Solefald has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Solefald looking to control but Belo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Solefald working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solefald jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Belo manages to avoid the submission attempt. Belo being controlled for a moment. Solefald lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Belo taking a bit of punishment here - Solefald scoring with strikes. Belo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Solefald lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The referee asks Solefald politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Solefald prefers to stall for the moment though. Solefald working the head with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borknagar Solefald dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Solefald closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Solefald pulls guard. Solefald is looking to stand up but Belo isn't so interested in that idea. Solefald looking for a triangle here. Belo is fighting it but it looks tight! Solefald pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Belo is tapping out - this one is all over!
