Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Stubb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Monsoon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monsoon has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stubb clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stubb accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Monsoon keeping moving, preventing Stubb from controlling successfully.
Stubb is really struggling to control Monsoon but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Monsoon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stubb's guard.
Stubb is adopting a defensive guard.
Monsoon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stubb is proving hard to escape from.

Stubb looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Monsoon has picked Stubb up and slammed him! Stubb can't keep hold of the triangle and Monsoon manages to pass to side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stubb is working to avoid the ground and pound but Monsoon connects with a decent elbow.

Monsoon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Monsoon.

Ray Monsoon seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Monsoon stalks Stubb and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stubb's face. Stubb staggers backwards, shaken.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stubb is rocked!
Monsoon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Stubb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It's a brutal combination of punches from Monsoon! Stubb is backing up but he can't get away as Monsoon lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Stubb and ends the fight. Great knockout.
