Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Lang!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang misses with a wild body shot.
Jones looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lang.
Lang misses with the combination.
Daniel Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lang tries to clinch but Jones moves away

and Jones counters with a head kick that drops Lang!

Lang wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
Lang seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones tries to stand but Lang is controlling from the bottom.
Lang wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Jones wants to stand but Lang has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Lang is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Lang wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard.

Jones uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lang's guard.

Lang wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lang wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lang, up you get!
Lang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Jones misses with a double jab
and Lang finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Jones throws a big shot that misses.

Jones throws a series of punches but Lang moves out of range.
Lang misses with a body kick.
Horrible takedown by Lang or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Lang throws a combination that misses
and Jones counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Lang off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Jones follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Lang was out before he hit the floor.
