Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Karl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kalle Ninja! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Duke Karl! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ninja connects with a jab. Ninja with a nice cross. Ninja scores with a jab. Karl acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Karl drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karl forces his way into half guard. Ninja wants to get back to full guard but Karl has passed into side control. Ninja is looking to get to half guard. Ninja is working hard here to advance position. Ninja is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ninja tries to improve his position but instead Karl has taken his back! Well, with Karl on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Ninja is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Karl has the hooks in. Ninja is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Ninja just trying to survive but Karl is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Karl controlling the position well here. Ninja rolled but Karl kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Ninja's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karl is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Ninja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karl on the ground. You can see the frustration on Ninja's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Karl has good solid back control here. Karl not allowing Ninja to control his hands. Will Karl go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ninja doesn't manage to clinch there - Karl circles away.
Ninja tries to clinch up. Karl swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Karl lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Ninja sprawling to the canvas. Karl follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Ninja hang on?
Ninja is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karl perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Oh Ninja is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Karl is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ninja is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
