Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jadranko Kosor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Yam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jadranko Kosor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Donnie Yam! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yam turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Yam throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Jadranko Kosor has been cut. Kosor gets the takedown into side control. Kosor working away. Kosor working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ground and pound from Kosor seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Yam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kosor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kosor scores with a couple of short elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yam avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kosor. Yam prevents Kosor from improving position. Kosor working away. Kosor wants to control but Yam is keeping him busy. Kosor has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kosor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Yam swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yam shoots in but Kosor avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yam throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Yam misses with a takedown attempt and Kosor counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kosor is breathing heavily. Yam is pulling down on Kosor's head. It's preventing any offense from Kosor, at least for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kosor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kosor throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kosor postures up in Yam's guard and throws a big left but Yam blocks it. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kosor wants to control from the top but Yam keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Yam looks to clinch and Kosor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kosor trying to control but Yam is working from the bottom. Yam looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kosor is one step ahead there. Kosor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yam is keeping the position for now. Kosor trying to move into half guard but instead Yam has managed to sweep! Yam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kosor being controlled here, momentarily. Yam works a leg free and moves into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kosor is trying to get back to full guard. Yam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kosor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kosor slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Yam wants to stand but Kosor has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kosor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kosor keeping moving, preventing Yam from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kosor keeping moving, preventing Yam from controlling successfully. Yam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kosor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jadranko Kosor dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jadranko Kosor's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kosor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kosor has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Yam! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yam tries to hold on but Kosor postures up. Yam is in all sorts of trouble here.
Yam takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Yam is desperately trying to improve his position but Kosor has a good base and remains in mount. Kosor dominating with strikes here. Kosor working the ground and pound effectively.
Kosor controlling the position easily from mount. Kosor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Yam is surviving well by controlling Kosor's body position as best he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kosor looking for a guillotine from mount but Yam is having none of it. Kosor is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Yam has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Yam! Yam trying to control but Kosor is working from the bottom. Kosor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kosor works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kosor is looking for a triangle but Yam pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kosor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yam is one step ahead there. Yam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kosor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yam has managed to get both his arms back between Kosor's legs - danger averted. Kosor controls Yam momentarily but Yam frees himself. Kosor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Yam is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kosor is keeping the position for now. Kosor throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Kosor lands with a hook. Yam tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kosor throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Yam takes a swing at Kosor's ribcage but misses. Kosor shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kosor stops Yam from getting back to his feet.
Kosor trying to control the action but Yam is working from the bottom. Yam tries to get to full guard but Kosor has control of the leg. Kosor is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kosor landing strikes from the mount and Yam is in trouble!

Kosor landing shots from mount. Kosor looking for a guillotine from mount but Yam is having none of it. Kosor is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yam can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kosor prevents Yam from getting the reversal. Kosor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Yam is surviving well by controlling Kosor's body position as best he can. Kosor is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kosor goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Yam is on top in guard.
Kosor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kosor is tightening it up a little... Yam has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Yam reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Yam taps out! nice BJJ there by Kosor!
