The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desperado drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Desperado throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Desperado uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Desperado sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Jeffrey Jones has been cut.

Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Desperado's shoulder, as Desperado tries to avoid the shot.
Desperado lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Desperado.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Desperado uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.

Desperado lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Desperado thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Desperado is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Jones flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jones is out cold! Desperado holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
