Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Patricio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patricio comes to the cage accompanied by COWBOYS FROM HELL. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Pan! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pan forces Patricio back against the cage and clinches. Pan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Pan tries to land knees in the clinch but Patricio avoids the damage to the body. Pan has Patricio pressed against the cage.

It looks like Adrian Patricio has been cut. Pan breaks from the clinch.
Pan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pan wants it to stay on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Patricio. Patricio closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pan circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Patricio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pan has Patricio up against the cage in a clinch.

Pan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pan prevents Patricio from getting the reversal. Pan tries to control but Patricio wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pan breaks from Patricio's wrist control and lands an elbow. Patricio is in a horrible position here. Pan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Patricio defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pan. Pan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Patricio wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pan.

Patricio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pan but Pan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pan tries to clinch up. Patricio looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pan moves in looking to clinch but Patricio pushes him off. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pan has eaten all the pies! Patricio takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pan has closed the distance and engaged Patricio in a clinch.

Pan gets a takedown into half guard. Pan is taking a breather. Patricio says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pan moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pan trying to land knees to the body.
Patricio drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Patricio finds it's way round the side to connect with Pan's head. Pan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Pan misses with a two punch combination.
Pan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Patricio swats him away and circles back towards the center. Patricio shoots in but Pan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Patricio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pan on the ground. Pan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pan tries to pass to full mount but Patricio defends it. Patricio avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pan is looking to take a break and control but Patricio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pan wants to stand up but Patricio has a hold of him and won't allow it. Pan trying to control the action but Patricio is working from the bottom. Pan prevents Patricio from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Pan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Adrian Patricio's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Patricio pushes Pan against the cage but Pan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Peter Pan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pan clinches. Pan putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Patricio in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Pan misses with a knee to the head. Patricio is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Patricio takes a knee to the side of the body. Pan lands an elbow just above Patricio 's eye. Pan pulls Patricio into guard.

Pan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Patricio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pan wriggles free and stands up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pan pushes Patricio off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Patricio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pan tries to avoid it but Patricio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pan to the ground. Pan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Patricio shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pan as he jumps to the side. Pan doesn't manage to clinch there - Patricio circles away.
Patricio tries to keep at a distance but Pan has taken the fight into the clinch. Pan is pressed up against the cage. Patricio has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pan down to the mat. Pan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Patricio as Pan tries to tie him up. Patricio drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Peter Pan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pan tries to stall but Patricio uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pan tries to land knees in the clinch but Patricio avoids the damage to the body. Patricio is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Patricio is trying to drag Pan to the mat but Pan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Pan gets underhooks to prevent Patricio's takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! Peter Pan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
