Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zack The Rainbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristi Radu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zack The Rainbow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cristi Radu !
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Radu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The Rainbow is rocked!
Radu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. The Rainbow can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Rainbow tries to reverse the position but Radu maintains control.
The Rainbow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Radu on the ground.

Radu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. The Rainbow looks a forlorn figure.
Radu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Radu is landing with some decent strikes but The Rainbow is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The Rainbow is in a horrible position here. Radu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The Rainbow is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The Rainbow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The Rainbow is breathing heavily.
BOOM! Radu connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Radu has control of The Rainbow's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and The Rainbow regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The Rainbow is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Radu has taken his back.
The Rainbow has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Radu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The Rainbow is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The Rainbow seems to have got his legs back now.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The Rainbow rolls, trying to escape but Radu keeps control of the position.

Radu is landing with strikes from the back.
The Rainbow is having to fend off submission attempts from Radu , who is looking to sink in the choke. Radu doesn't have the hooks in though and The Rainbow manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
The Rainbow is looking to stand up but Radu won't let him.

The Rainbow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The Rainbow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Radu swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The Rainbow has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Radu to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! The Rainbow is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Radu pulls down on the head and he's put The Rainbow to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Cristi Radu !
