The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jibro closes this distance looking for a takedown but The Tornado circles away.
The Tornado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jibro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice sprawl there from The Tornado as Jibro shoots in.
Jibro shoots for a double leg takedown but The Tornado sprawls well. He's pushed Jibro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Jibro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Tornado takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jibro controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The Tornado just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Let's hope that The Tornado has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

and Jibro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jibro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Good leg kick by The Tornado there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The Tornado throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

The Tornado's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and The Tornado duly obliges.

Jibro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well The Tornado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
