Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ima Llama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pedro Carbone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llama fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Llama looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pedro Carbone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Carbone.

Llama is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carbone's half guard.
Llama passes the guard and advances to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Llama fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Llama looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Carbone is trying to stand up.
Carbone wants to control but Llama is having none of it.

Llama working for a guillotine from mount but Carbone is in no mood to give up.
Llama takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Llama jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Carbone manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Llama postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Carbone is being controlled here.
Llama really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee asks Llama politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Llama prefers to stall for the moment though.

Llama is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carbone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Llama misses with the ground and pound.
Carbone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Llama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Llama cracks Carbone with a big right hand but Carbone just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Llama wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carbone keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carbone can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee asks Llama politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Llama prefers to stall for the moment though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ima Llama just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Llama shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!


Carbone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carbone keeps the fight on the outside.
Carbone tried to score with a low kick but Llama checks it.
Ima Llama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carbone tries to bum rush Llama with a series of wild strikes but Llama uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Llama looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Llama stands and throws Carbone's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Carbone is trying to get back to half guard.
Carbone is breathing heavily.
Llama in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Llama wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carbone keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Llama looks up at the clock and then as Carbone takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Llama smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Llama wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carbone, who protects the arm well.
Carbone is being controlled here.
Llama works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ima Llama just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Llama comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carbone tries to clinch but Llama is having none of it.

Llama throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carbone was covering up waiting for the punch and Llama finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Llama stays in close to Carbone's body and controls the position.
Llama seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carbone for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ima Llama dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Carbone is in a horrible position here. Llama smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Llama swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
