Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Handler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Rockstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockstein has chosen I'm just a Rock 'n' Roll Clown - Dr Rockzo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Handler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Leonard Rockstein!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockstein tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice takedown defense from Rockstein. No joy for Handler on that attempt.
Handler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rockstein tries to avoid it but Handler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rockstein to the ground. Rockstein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rockstein scores with a nice strike.


It looks like Adam Handler has been cut.

Handler looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Handler takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Handler seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rockstein avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Handler.

Handler could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rockstein is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Handler scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Rockstein wants to get back to his feet but Handler is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rockstein closes the distance and clinches.

Rockstein breaks from the clinch.
Handler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Handler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Handler shoots in looking for a takedown. Rockstein tries to sprawl out of it but Handler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rockstein manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rockstein digs a good hook to Handler's body.

Rockstein sends Handler crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rockstein is motioning to the referee to let Handler up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rockstein measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Handler! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Leonard Rockstein!
