The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to clinch up but Calero circles away and keeps his distance.
Nogueira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Calero pinned against the cage. Calero gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nogueira lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nogueira.

It looks like Alexandre Calero has been cut.
Nogueira tries to clinch up but Calero circles away and keeps his distance.
Nogueira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nogueira keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Calero could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nogueira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Calero takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Calero drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nogueira had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Calero defends it easily.
Nogueira looking to hit a scissor sweep but Calero is one step ahead there.

Nogueira is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Calero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nogueira swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Calero is pushing down on Nogueira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nogueira is fighting to maintain full guard but Calero has managed to sneak the leg through.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Calero throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Nogueira tries to roll over but Calero keeps him under control.
Nogueira wants to control but Calero passes into side.
Nogueira looks gassed!

Nogueira is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Calero's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Calero! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Nogueira has tapped! This one is allllll over!
