Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norman Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norman Reeves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Tan! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reeves misses with a wild combination.
Reeves shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tan is trying to defend but Reeves finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Reeves seems to be looking for submissions.
Reeves sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tan defending well though. Reeves looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Reeves wants to pass to mount but Tan is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tan is trying to stand back up but Reeves is controlling him
Tan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tan can do anything to dispel that myth. Reeves throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Reeves is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tan has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reeves avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tan stuffs the takedown. Tan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tan scores with a nice strike. Tan with a jab. Tan lands a body shot.
Reeves could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tan stalks Reeves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Reeves's face. Reeves staggers backwards, shaken. Reeves is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reeves gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tan. Reeves shoots in and drives through. Tan sprawls well. Tan lands a head shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Reeves. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norman Reeves. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reeves throws a combination that misses and Tan counters with a straight right hand. Tan lands a jab to Reeves's midsection. Norman Reeves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tan lands a big uppercut and Reeves crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Reeves looks OK. Tan waves Reeves back to his feet!
Reeves is rocked! Tan cracks Reeves with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Reeves falls to his knees and Tan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Tan!
