The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Jamie Hill has been cut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hill looking to control but iglesia is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
iglesia takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hill unloads with some shots from mount but iglesia bucks and avoids them well.
iglesia wants to hold on but Hill pushes him away.

Hill closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. iglesia did well to prevent Hill getting side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

iglesia cracks Hill with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

iglesia throws a combination. Hill tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hill feints and as iglesia raises his hands in defense, Hill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hill is pushing down on iglesia's leg trying to pass to half guard. iglesia is fighting to maintain full guard but Hill has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jamie Hill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
iglesia takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hill is going oldschool here, as he tries to force iglesia to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so iglesia shrugs it off.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamie Hill.
