Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sverker Uggla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uggla comes to the cage accompanied by Edvard Grieg - In the hall of the mountain king. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uggla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lashley tries to avoid it but Uggla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lashley to the ground. Lashley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Uggla gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Uggla looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lashley trying to control the position from guard on top but Uggla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uggla is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Uggla is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Uggla trying to keep a closed guard but Lashley is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lashley is fighting to break Uggla's control of his arms but Uggla is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lashley gets to his feet. Uggla looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lashley misses with a takedown and Uggla counters with a two punch combo. Lashley fails with the takedown and Uggla counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lashley can do anything to dispel that myth. Lashley looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Uggla frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lashley wants to control but Uggla is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uggla looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut. Lashley taking shots to the head.
That has opened up Bobby Lashley's cut even more. Uggla lands a big shot there that rocks Lashley but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The cut above Bobby Lashley's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Lashley's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
