Innocente comes to the cage accompanied by Mirror Mirror (Blind Guardian). Benedetti has chosen A Voice in the Dark (Blind Guardian) as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Innocente shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Benedetti is trying to defend but Innocente finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Innocente thows a huge punch but Benedetti dodges it nicely.
Benedetti keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Innocente is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Innocente is looking for a kimura but Benedetti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Innocente to get the leverage.
