Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmo throws a head kick but Thompson moves out of range.
Thompson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jimmo throws out the jab.
Thompson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thompson.
It looks like Ryan Jimmo has been cut.
Jimmo leaves Thompson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jimmo fails to land with a series of punches.
A big right from Jimmo misses.
Jimmo throws and low kick but Thompson moves out of range easily.
Jimmo is looking to clinch but Thompson is avoiding it.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Jimmo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jimmo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jimmo is looking to stand up but Thompson isn't so interested in that idea.

and Thompson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jimmo's guard.

Thompson is really struggling to control Jimmo but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ryan Jimmo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jimmo has one foot on Thompson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jimmo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Thompson is proving hard to escape from.

Jimmo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thompson circles away quickly and effectively.

Ryan Jimmo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jimmo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jimmo wants it to stay on the feet.
