Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Bird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and WB Crisse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Bird could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to WB Crisse's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Bird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, WB Crisse!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crisse shoots in but no luck this time.
Crisse misses the shot to the body.
Bird digs a good body shot into Crisse's ribs.
Bird uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crisse.
Bird lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Crisse throws a body punch but Bird moves out of range.
Bird lands a glancing blow to the side of Crisse's head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bird. That's going to slow Crisse down.
Bird fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Crisse scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bird is looking to escape.
Bird is trying to escape back to his feet but Crisse uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Bird is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Crisse tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crisse has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bird is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Crisse is controlling him well.

Crisse is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bird is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bird tries to escape but Crisse is in control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bird really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Crisse tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bird wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Crisse is working to tighten is grip on Bird's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bird has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crisse is really squeezing tight and eventually Bird passes out! Crisse breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
