The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Angell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodman tries to avoid it but Angell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodman to the ground. Rodman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Angell shoots in and drives through. Rodman sprawls well.
Rodman tries to bum rush Angell with a series of wild strikes but Angell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rodman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rodman moves into the clinch successfully.
Rodman is trying to break the clinch but Angell has him pressed against the cage.
Rodman wants to get back to striking at distance but Angell won't allow it.

Rodman tries to bum rush Angell with a series of wild strikes but Angell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
