Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickel Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. This is Vlad Boyeslav Now kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dickel Goldman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dickel Goldman!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanchez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Goldman avoids it really well and circles away.
A nice combination there by Goldman.
Sanchez fails to land the takedown.
Goldman lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sanchez will feel that in the morning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Goldman wants to clinch.
Goldman ducks under a wild hook from Sanchez.
Goldman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Goldman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Goldman with a poor takedown

and Sanchez counters with a single leg into guard. Goldman didn't expect that.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.

Sanchez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Goldman dives on top into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sanchez tries to control Goldman's body but Goldman pushes him off. Sanchez squirms to his side and now Goldman has his back!

Goldman doesn't have the hooks in and Sanchez manages to turn into his guard.
Goldman is looking to stand up but Sanchez isn't so interested in that idea.
Goldman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanchez!
Goldman looking to control but Sanchez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Goldman looking to control and managing it successfully.

Goldman stands up from mount. Strange move.
Some wild striking there from Goldman.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Goldman pushes Sanchez up against the cage in a clinch.

Goldman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Goldman tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dickel Goldman dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sanchez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Goldman rushes Sanchez and presses him up against the cage.

Goldman manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Goldman keeps moving.
Goldman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sanchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Goldman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Goldman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanchez's guard.

Sanchez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sanchez tries to get out of the position.
Goldman stands and throws Sanchez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Goldman controls the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Goldman tries to move into full mount but can't pass Sanchez's legs.
A lull in the action here as Goldman stalls from top position.
Sanchez looks to move to half guard but instead Goldman has passed into mount! Damn!
Goldman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sanchez is looking to escape.

Goldman content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanchez is trying to reverse the position but instead Goldman has taken his back - oops!

Sanchez wants to control his opponent's hands but Goldman gets his hands free.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Good control from Goldman.
Sanchez wants to control his opponent's hands but Goldman gets his hands free.
Goldman struggling to keep hold of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Despite being in the dominant position, Dickel Goldman just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Goldman throws a one two combo.

Goldman clinches with his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dickel Goldman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Goldman lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Goldman misses with a wild combination.
Goldman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Goldman tries to clinch up but Sanchez circles away and keeps his distance.

Goldman gets a clinch.
Goldman goes for a takedown attempt but Sanchez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Goldman connects with a high kick.
Horrible takedown by Goldman or perhaps it was just good defense by Sanchez which made him look bad.
Goldman moves in looking to clinch but Sanchez pushes him off.

Sanchez closes the distance and pushes Goldman back into the cage.
Sanchez pushes off an throws an elbow but Goldman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Goldman is trying to maintain a safe position but Sanchez gets an underhook and turns Goldman into the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sanchez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A bit of stalling here from Goldman.
Sanchez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Sanchez wants to break the clinch but can't.

Goldman jumps guard.
Goldman wants to sweep here but Sanchez controlling him for the moment.
Goldman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sanchez controls the pace.
Sanchez tries to free his leg and advance position but Goldman is retaining full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Goldman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Goldman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanchez's guard.

Goldman stays in close to Sanchez's body and controls the position.

Goldman works to advance to full mount. Sanchez defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Goldman is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Goldman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Goldman stands up from half guard.
Dickel Goldman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Goldman forces Sanchez back against the cage and clinches.
Goldman with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Patrick Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sanchez pushes Goldman back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sanchez throws an elbow but it misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dickel Goldman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Goldman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
