The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gass scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gass rushes Jones and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Gass drags the fight down to the ground.
Gass controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kyle Gass will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gass doesn't seem phased though.

Gass has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gass bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
