Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Gass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Gass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gass scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gass rushes Jones and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Gass drags the fight down to the ground.
Gass controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Gass trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gass works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones is fighting to break Gass's control of his arms but Gass is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gass trying to control the position.
Jones stops Gass from standing up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gass on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gass closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the ropes. Gass has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jones is trying to keep an underhook but Gass manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gass missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gass wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Jones wants to get back to his feet. Gass wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gass stops Jones from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gass looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gass is breathing heavily. Gass is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gass stands up from half guard. Gass misses with a head kick.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones lands with a hook. Gass tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Gass shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Jones's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jones duly obliges. Jones misses with a head kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gass showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jones.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gass has his feet on Jones's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Jones dips to his left and cracks Gass with an uppercut! Gass walks into a straight right hand from Jones. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gass.
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gass gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones. Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gass counters with a takedown into side control. Jones wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gass wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jones wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Gass is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well. Jones is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gass is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jones's shoulder. That is not cool.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jones lands with a right hand. Jones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jones cracks Gass with a good jab. Jab, jab by Jones - just one landing. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Gass bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Gass has Jones pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gass pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jones tumbling to the mat - Gass dives into Jones's guard. Jones wants to stand up but Gass is controlling him. Jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Gass advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gass seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jones pushes Gass off looking to stand but Gass dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gass decides to stand and escape the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gass. A big right from Jones misses. Gass connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jon Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A good leg kick by Gass. Gass slips a straight right by Jones. Gass clinches up against the ropes. Gass pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gass moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gass shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Gass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Gass lands a heavy elbow. Gass controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gass jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jones is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jones and Gass has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Gass wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well. Jones is trying to get back to his feet. Gass fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones misses with a double jab.
Gass fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A combination from Gass does no damage. Donk. Jones catches Gass right on the button with a cross. Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jones scores with a one two! Gass had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Gass swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones lands the left hand. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gass tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Gass. Jones misses with a hook. Gass ducked under it nicely. Jones throws a right and a left that Gass avoids nicely. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Gass shoots in. Gass takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gass doesn't seem phased though. Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Gass checks a low kick from Jones. Jones throws a good cross that connects.
Gass connects with a high kick. Gass clinches with his opponent.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gass lands with a short head shot on the inside. Gass prevents Jones from breaking the clinch. Gass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones throws a combination. Gass tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Jones misses with a double jab.

Gass has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gass avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Gass has wrist control. Gass preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Gass blocks nicely. Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gass escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones throws a series of punches but Gass avoids them all with ease. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Gass is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gass gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting. Gass throws a head kick that misses. Jones throws a right hand that Gass ducks under and follows up with a left that Gass also avoids with ease. Gass slips under a jab. Jones lands with a right hand. Gass dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Jones has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gass has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gass pulls guard effortlessly. Jones postures up.
Jones thows a big elbow that misses. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Gass is pulling down on Jones's head. It's preventing any offense from Jones, at least for the moment. Gass has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gass bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping full guard, as Gass tries to pass. Gass wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones wants to stand but Gass is controlling the position. Gass lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jon Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kyle Gass is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Gass showed his dominance in that final round. I think Gass has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
