Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Myles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Rinker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rinker has chosen Mosh as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Myles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toby Rinker! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rinker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rinker not landing any meaningful shots this time. Rinker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Myles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rinker. Rinker working over Myles with some ground and pound. Myles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rinker trying to control from half guard but Myles is working away. Myles wants to control but Rinker is keeping busy and won't allow it. Myles is trying to get back to full guard. Rinker winds up and cracks Myles with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Myles tries to get to full guard but Rinker has control of the leg. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Myles is trying to maintain the position but Rinker is very close to passing his half guard. Myles is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myles is looking to improve his position.
Myles is staying active underneath Rinker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rinker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Myles manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rinker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rinker looking to pass the guard. Myles looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rinker is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rinker wants to control from the top but Myles keeps moving. Rinker connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rinker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rinker looking to pass the guard. Rinker trying to control the position from guard on top but Myles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Myles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rinker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinker wants to control from the top but Myles keeps moving. Rinker with a flurry of punches that miss. Rinker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Myles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rinker has managed to get both his arms back between Myles's legs - danger averted. Myles is breathing heavily. Rinker working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Myles has momentary wrist control but Rinker slips an elbow through the middle. Myles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Myles wants to sweep here but Rinker controlling him for the moment. Rinker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rinker scoring with some ground and pound. Rinker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rinker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rinker wants to control from the top but Myles keeps moving. Rinker landing with the ground and pound. Rinker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Myles keeping moving, preventing Rinker from controlling successfully. Myles trying to keep a closed guard but Rinker is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rinker distracts Myles with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toby Rinker dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Myles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rinker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Myles won't be happy with that. Rinker working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Myles tries to buck Rinker off but Rinker is having none of it. Myles manages to get back to half guard. Myles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rinker scores with a couple of nice shots. Rinker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Myles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rinker wants to free his trapped foot but Myles is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rinker passes to side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rinker tries to move to mount but Myles blocks the move with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rinker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Myles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rinker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Myles keeps working. Rinker swings around for an armbar but Myles sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Rinker's guard. Rinker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rinker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rinker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rinker has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Myles has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinker is trying to get back to half guard. Rinker gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Myles trying to control from Rinker's half guard. Rinker has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Rinker has Myles pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rinker is on top in guard.
Myles is trying to hold Rinker in close to prevent damage but Rinker has managed to pass into half guard.
Rinker tries to pass to full mount but Myles defends it. Ground and pound from Rinker. Myles wants to control but Rinker is keeping busy and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Toby Rinker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Rinker scores with a takedown into Myles's guard. Rinker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Myles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Rinker is working Myles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Myles keeping full guard, as Rinker tries to pass. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rinker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rinker is working Myles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rinker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Myles is keeping the position for now. Myles working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rinker tries to free his leg and advance position but Myles is retaining full guard. Myles controls Rinker momentarily but Rinker frees himself. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rinker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rinker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Myles's half guard. Rinker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rinker moves into full mount! Myles won't be happy about that!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rinker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Myles can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rinker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Myles hang on? The referee warns Myles that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rinker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Myles is surviving well by controlling Rinker's body position as best he can. A nice elbow there by Rinker. Rinker unloading with bombs! Myles wants to hold on but Rinker pushes him away. Rinker is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Myles can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rinker is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rinker lands a heavy elbow. Rinker raining down shots from the mount! Rinker controlling from the full mount. Rinker with good strikes from the mount here! Myles is squirming around, avoiding Rinker's attempts to control the action. Rinker dominating with strikes here. Jake Myles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rinker landing strikes from the mount and Myles is in trouble!
And that's the end of the fight! Toby Rinker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rinker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
