Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pierre Tremblay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randall Greene!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tremblay has a takedown stuffed.
No luck for Tremblay with that takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Greene drags the fight down to the ground.

Tremblay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tremblay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Greene has his hands on Tremblay's head, controlling the position.
Tremblay wants to pass the guard but Greene is keeping the position.

Greene has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tremblay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Greene is looking for a sweep. Tremblay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Greene is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tremblay's half guard.

Greene postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Tremblay has his foot on Greene's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Greene works his way back into a safe position though.

and Greene counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tremblay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Greene is looking to take a break and control but Tremblay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Greene wants to stand up but Tremblay has a hold of him and won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tremblay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tremblay had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Greene defends it easily.
Greene must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Greene fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tremblay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Greene stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tremblay swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Greene should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Randall Greene comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Greene has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
