Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Lareaux misses.
Russell scores with a takedown into Lareaux's guard.
Russell tries to free his leg and advance position but Lareaux is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lareaux wants to get back to his feet but Russell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Russell drops back looking for a leg! Lareaux is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lareaux manages to kick Russell off! Russell jumps back into Lareaux's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Russell wants to pass the guard but Lareaux is keeping the position.
Russell stands up and waves to Lareaux to follow him.
Russell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch combination from Lareaux misses.
Lareaux throws a hook to the side of Russell's head but Russell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Russell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Russell looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lareaux wants to get back to his feet.
Russell wants to work for an arm triangle but Lareaux is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Russell works his way into full mount!
Russell looks gassed!
Russell fails to move to back control.
Russell putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Lareaux avoids a series of strikes thrown by Russell.
Lareaux tries to hold on but Russell postures up.
Lareaux is in all sorts of trouble here.
Russell wants to finish this one by submission but Lareaux is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Russell.
Lareaux tries to control Russell's body but Russell pushes him off. Lareaux squirms to his side and now Russell has his back!
Lareaux is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Russell working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Lareaux is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Russell has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Lareaux taps out!
