Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josaya Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia's entrance music is Go. A fine choice. Big Lesnar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josaya Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Big Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lesnar goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Lesnar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Garcia momentarily.
Lesnar throws the kick towards the body but Garcia avoids it. Lesnar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garcia's waist but Garcia gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lesnar off to one side. Lesnar digs a good body shot into Garcia's ribs. Lesnar scores with a hook to the body. Garcia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lesnar dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out. Garcia has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Big Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lesnar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but Garcia shows good takedown defense. Josaya Garcia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Lesnar. Lesnar lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lesnar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Lesnar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lesnar. A right-left combo lands from Lesnar. Lesnar throws a right and a left that Garcia avoids nicely. Garcia moves out of range of the body kick. Lesnar throws a good cross that connects.
Lesnar lands with a nice body punch. Garcia could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lesnar misses with the combination.
Lesnar misses with a double jab.
Lesnar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garcia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lesnar somewhat. Lesnar throws a right and a left that Garcia avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lesnar dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out. Lesnar fails to land with a series of punches.
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt and Lesnar counters with a series of strikes. Garcia will be more careful next time no doubt. Lesnar is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Some wild striking there from Lesnar.
Garcia dives in and grabs Lesnar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes down on Garcia's head and hops out. Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Garcia, before circling back to the center of the mat. Garcia is breathing heavily. Lesnar with a poor takedown and Garcia counters with a nice double leg into guard. Garcia working some strikes from top position. Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lesnar wants to stand up but Garcia is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Garcia scoring with some ground and pound. Garcia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Garcia working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Garcia throwing strikes from guard but Lesnar blocks nicely. Garcia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Garcia trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garcia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Garcia from controlling successfully. Garcia landing with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josaya Garcia dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Decent striking displayed by Lesnar there. Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt and Garcia counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Garcia. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Garcia here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Garcia cracks Lesnar with a solid left hand. Garcia throwing strikes from guard but Lesnar blocks nicely. Garcia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lesnar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Garcia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garcia lands a couple of decent looking shots. Garcia working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Garcia. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing Garcia from controlling successfully. Garcia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Garcia drops back looking for a leg! Lesnar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lesnar manages to kick Garcia off! Garcia jumps back into Lesnar's guard. Garcia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Garcia passes into half guard. Lesnar pushes Garcia off looking to stand but Garcia dives back in and keeps control.
Garcia has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Lesnar defend it? Garcia steps over the head and cranks it - Lesnar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Garcia!
