Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cocka Suarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Prozak - Under The Rain. Suarus is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Not Afraid - Eminem. Jordan Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cocka Suarus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jordan Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cocka Suarus! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Suarus is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Suarus is trying to stand.
Suarus wants to get back to full guard. Jones content to control rather than advance. Suarus looks like he's trying to stand up.
Suarus tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. Jones wants to take a breather but Suarus is having none of it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Suarus tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Suarus misses with a head kick.
Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jones wants to control but Suarus is keeping him busy. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to move into full mount but can't pass Suarus's legs. Suarus tries to escape but Jones is in control. Jones moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Suarus is looking for a sweep. Suarus wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Suarus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Jones blocks a head kick by Suarus.
Suarus throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. Suarus throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Suarus tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones feints and as Suarus raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Suarus looking for a sweep. Not yet Suarus, not yet. Jones advances to half guard. Jones sitting and controlling from the half guard. Suarus looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Suarus is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Jones is taking a breather. Suarus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones prevents Suarus from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones prevents Suarus from improving his position. Suarus is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones works his foot free and advances to mount. Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has control of Suarus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Suarus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Suarus wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Jones blocks a head kick by Suarus.
Suarus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Jones lands a shoulder strike. With the fighters up against the cage, Suarus throws an elbow but misses. Jones lands a body punch in the clinch. Jones dodges an elbow strike from Suarus.
Suarus misses with the head strike.
Jones is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Suarus tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Suarus throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Suarus thows a big elbow that misses. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Suarus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jones is tightening it up a little... Suarus has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Suarus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Suarus taps out! nice BJJ there by Jones!
