Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Topham Hatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatt's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, .. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sir Topham Hatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Taylor! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor jabs at Hatt's body. Taylor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hatt momentarily.
Taylor stuffs the takedown. Taylor slips under a jab from Hatt. Hatt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Taylor. Taylor catches Hatt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Taylor scores with a jab to the jaw. Hatt needs to keep his hands up - Taylor had a free shot at his head there. Taylor scores with a sloppy right hand. Hatt should have avoided that one. Taylor drives through and clinches with Hatt against the cage.
Hatt tries to work over Taylor's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hatt is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hatt can't find room to land a body shot as Taylor controls the action.
Taylor lands a body shot. Hatt struggles to land a body shot inside as Taylor controls his hands.
Hatt is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Taylor is keeping busy. A short body shot lands from Taylor as the two fighters clinch.
Hatt misses with a punch to the body.
Hatt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Taylor's elbow. Hatt fails to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatt tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taylor smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sir Topham Hatt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Taylor throws the left hand but Hatt avoids the punch easily. A telegraphed right hand from Taylor misses the target. Taylor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hatt moves away. Good shot there by Taylor.
It looks like Sir Topham Hatt has been cut. Taylor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hatt at a distance.
Jab from Taylor. Taylor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hatt, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Hatt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hatt misses with a body punch.
Hatt can't break the clinch.
Hatt jumps guard and drags Taylor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Taylor wants to control from the top but Hatt keeps moving. Taylor is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatt is looking for a triangle but Taylor pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor stopping the sweep attempt from Hatt. Hatt keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully. Hatt keeping full guard, as Taylor tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hatt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taylor is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hatt swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hatt looks to throw the jab but Taylor is out of range. A right-left combo lands from Taylor. Shane Taylor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taylor's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Taylor duly obliges. Taylor dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hatt keeps the fight on the outside. Taylor blocks a jab. Taylor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Taylor dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sir Topham Hatt's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A big right from Taylor misses. Taylor misses the jab. Taylor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hatt to score an easy takedown into full guard. Taylor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hatt manages to get himself to full guard.

Taylor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hatt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Taylor has managed to get both his arms back between Hatt's legs - danger averted. Taylor not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hatt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hatt trying to keep a closed guard but Taylor is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Taylor is one step ahead there. Taylor forces his way into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Taylor controlling the action here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hatt is pressing down on Taylor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shane Taylor will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Sir Topham Hatt's cut. That's time! Hatt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Hatt digs a right hand into Taylor's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Taylor's gas tank. Hatt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hatt looks to score with a jab to the body but Taylor is just out of range. Hatt takes one on the button. Decent striking displayed by Taylor there. Taylor swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Taylor moves in looking to clinch but Hatt pushes him off. Hatt misses with an uppercut. Taylor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hatt swats him away and circles back towards the center. Taylor moves out of range of the strikes. Taylor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hatt circles away quickly and effectively. Hatt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taylor sees it coming and avoids it easily. Taylor tries to clinch but Hatt is having none of it. Hatt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatt won't allow Taylor to sweep him here. Taylor is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hatt looking to pass the guard. Hatt throws a big right hand that misses. Taylor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hatt manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Hatt gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hatt throwing strikes but missing. Taylor has Hatt pulled in close to control his posture. Hatt postures up in Taylor's guard and throws a big left but Taylor blocks it. Hatt wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hatt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hatt trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Taylor darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Hatt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Taylor as he avoids it easily. Hatt scores with a decent looking hook. Taylor misses with a straight left. Taylor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hatt moves away from the strike by Taylor. Hatt takes one to the chin there. A slow jab from Hatt misses its intended target. Taylor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hatt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taylor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hatt somewhat. Taylor fails in his attempt to clinch. Taylor moves in looking to clinch but Hatt pushes him off. Sir Topham Hatt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hatt scores with a crisp jab that stopped Taylor in his tracks.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Taylor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Taylor winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
